All types of linear guideways can be offered from the SDG Series with 4-direction loading to the SBS self-aligning series. We supply guideways to handle high stiffness, high precision, and high speed automation, all of which are of the highest quality with quick delivery. In addition to this, we are also able to supply the SBH Series of miniature guideway and can supply self-lubricating systems, quiet guides with ball chain technology, high rigidity versions, and high temperature options.
Linear guideways achieve high precision linear motion by using recirculating rolling elements between the rail and the guide block.
Advantages of Linear Guideways
High positional accuracy
Long-life with high motional accuracy
High speed motion with low driving force
Equal loading capacity in all directions
Easy installation
Easy lubrication
Interchangeability
Guideways Series and Types
SDG- The most commonly used, comes in sizes 15 to 65mm, taking loads up to 189,140N per block. Can be cut to any length from 100mm to 4000mm+ with anything larger than 4000mm being accommodated for by sectioned joints with ground ends.
SBS- Similar to SBG in all but profile. SBS come in sizes 15 to 45mm, taking loads up to 75,597N. As above, rail lengths are available from 100 to 4000mm+ with anything larger being accommodated for by sectioned joints with ground ends.
SBH- Miniature versions of the guideways suitable for miniature equipment. These are available in sizes ranging from 9-15mm.
RG- Is the high rigidity roller type of guideway that features a roller element instead of steel balls meaning it can take a much higher load than standard guideways.
Dust protection end caps, extra seals, and scrapers are available for various linear guideblocks to provide protection for those used in harsher environments.
Self-lubrication caps for linear guideways can be supplied, where required, for all sizes of guideway. The self-lubricating linear guideway contains a lubricator between the end cap and end seal, the outer side of the block is equipped with a replaceable oil cartridge. Lubrication oil flows from the cartridge to the lubricator which in turn lubricates the rails.
